The challenge
BusinessWith needed more than new ads. They needed to shift perception.
- The platform was seen as functional — not strategic. - Previous campaigns lacked production weight, weakening enterprise credibility. - The value proposition was complex and easily reduced to “just another tool.” - Trust was critical in a B2B environment where procurement decisions carry real financial risk.
Operational constraints increased the difficulty: - Two shoot daysTwo cities - Two countriesSwedish and Danish versions — adaptable to Norway - Multi-format assets for paid and brand rollout The task wasn’t just to produce content. It was to elevate perception across markets without increasing production footprint.
Visual Strategy
Grounded real-world environments to anchor credibility Single recurring lead character to unify the campaign narrative Controlled depth of field to balance authority and approachability Clean, restrained compositions reflecting product clarity
Lighting Approach
Soft directional key to avoid flat corporate lighting “Soft–hard mix” to preserve natural edge contrast while maintaining cinematic polish Subtle edge separation for dimensionality without glamourisation Practical-motivated lighting to reinforce authenticity
Camera Language
Gimbal-led tracking to maintain momentum and continuity across locations Medium focal lengths (approx. 35–50mm range) for credible perspective Avoided wide distortion to preserve executive trust Consistent framing language across markets for brand cohesio
Visual Strategy
Neutral, slightly warm grade to humanize the SaaS space Avoided cliché tech-blue tonality Clean contrast curve aligned with brand precision Cross-market consistency in skin tone and environmental balance
Setup 01 — Exterior Diffused Sun Key
Cinematic control in uncontrolled daylight.
Lighting Strategy
Late afternoon hard sun was used as the primary source and softened through a 4x4 handheld diffusion to maintain mobility during gimbal tracking. A 4x4 solid was introduced as negative fill to restore contrast and prevent flat daylight tonality.
The goal was controlled realism — preserving environmental authenticity while elevating dimensionality and subject separation.
